The Advent 4211 Professional Reviews
The Advent 4211 is MSI Wind, which are sold under a different name, in this case DSG's PC brand internally. But it is interesting to watch because of some differences, the most important award. As the original design of small, cheap computer, as embodied in the Asus Eee PC 701, has risen to take on a bigger screen, better keyboards, faster processors, Windows and hard drives, the cost is inevitably increased.

MSI wants £ 329 and Wind, which is clearly the wrong side of the barrier of 300 pounds. Some might even argue that it is too, and € 200 is the largest category of price SCC. Now, the original Eee can be had for less than a special offer, why choose a very expensive wind?
Well, the The Advent 4211 means you can have one without having to pay that much. PCWorld and other members of the chain before Dixons have priced the The Advent 4211 to 280 pounds, which brings much closer to the ideal of the NCC.
For your money, you get Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz - like the Acer Aspire One (AA1), the Asus Eee PC 901 and later Stablemates - 1 GB DDR 2 memory and a 80 GB hard drive. Also get Windows XP Service Pack 3, but since this guy is cheaper than the Linux version of the wind, still save money if you decide to install Ubuntu instead.
The Advent 4211 sports a bright 10.1in screen, but the solution is still the usual 1024 x 600, so the image is just larger than that at 901 or AA1, not a higher resolution.
